Corey Powell’s love for cooking, family & fun led to the establishment of Cp3 Catering. As a little boy, he spent a lot of his time standing in a chair in the kitchen, watching his grandmother, Eunice and mother, Zilphia prep and cook 3 meals a day for the family.

 

He spent years cooking for himself but it wasn’t until the Summer of 2015 when he made a life-changing decision.  Corey decided to step out on faith and start his own business!   Starting with plate sales, Corey became a household name and built lasting friendships and clientele.  He quickly expanded to private dinners, parties, reunions, and receptions!!!

 

Though Corey is mostly in the forefront, he could have never launched his catering service without the help of his family and friends.  Corey is quick to admit that his wife, TeNeisha, is the back bone of the business.  Cp3 Catering would not be what it is today without her and their kids.   Kamiyah, Taniya , Big Tyler, and Little Tyler, are always there to help prep food, load up, and lend a hand whenever he needs them. 

 

Although Cp3catering is based out of Rocky Mount, NC, we cater all types of events in all cities.  It’s because of this that Corey Powell is considered your “Chef on the Go”.
